Private Rented Sector Win for Elements Europe
Elements Europe has secured a multi-million pound private rented scheme in Manchester, as the national appetite for PRS apartments continues to flourish.
The seven storey building is a development by Solidagent Investments Ltd, and working with the professional team at Edmond Shipway, Condy Lofthouse Architects and Lee Architects, Elements Europe will manufacture, deliver and install 154 modules, providing 136 habitable studio apartments.
Three types of room modules between 28m sq and 31m sq will be manufactured to incorporate an open plan living, kitchen and dining area, a bedroom and bathroom all to the chosen specification of the client. Elements Europe will also manufacture all stair cores, a plant room, a reception/security office, entrance hall and a recycle room for the scheme.
A fully modular solution will result in a fast and efficient construction programme maximising rental income. The modules will take just 8 weeks to manufacture whilst the main contractor prepares the site ready for the install of room modules.
Six Victorian terrace houses have been demolished and the land remodelled to make way for the apartment block.
The scheme is in a great location residing on Hathersage Road, a mile from Manchester’s city centre and a short walk away from the Central Manchester University Hospital and Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.
Kevin Arthur, Sales Director commented on the scheme “We believe this will be the first of many apartment schemes we will be delivering for the Private Rented Sector.
“We have been working on PRS projects alongside developers and investors for some time and we are delighted that the Hathersage Road project is now moving forward” he added “It has been a pleasure to have developed the scheme with Solidagent Investments professional team.”
