Work Begins on Llanidloes Development for Mid Wales Housing Association
J-Ross Developments Ltd has seen work commence on their site in Llanidloes.
The development which is being constructed by Pickstock Partnerships on behalf of Mid Wales Housing Association will see 31 properties built on what was previously agricultural land on the B4569, just outside Llanidloes. The development is situated within walking distance of local amenities and schools.
The development will consist of one bedroom apartments, one and two bedroom terraced houses, two bedroom bungalows, three bedroom semi-detached houses and a four bedroom detached property. All will benefit from off-road parking and have a private garden. The development will incorporate a children’s play area and attractive landscaping.
Each of the properties will adhere to Level 3 for the Code for Sustainable Homes (CSH) in support of the Welsh Government’s zero carbon aspirations. The Code 3 requirements will be met by providing recycling bins, clothes lines, water butts and garden sheds as well as solar PV panels on selected properties.
Nick Scott, CEO of J-Ross Developments commented “It has been a pleasure to bring this site to fruition on behalf of Mid Wales Housing Association.” Nick added “Pickstock Homes has now started on-site, to build quality homes for the local community.”
Mid-Wales Housing Association currently has 1,500 properties throughout Mid Wales, as well as a number of properties in Shropshire. They provide homes for rent at an affordable cost for families, single people of all ages and the elderly, and also people who require care and support. The association’s core function is to develop and maintain good quality, affordable housing for local communities in need.
