Top Scores Achieved for Pickstock Construction Site

Pickstock Construction has achieved excellent scores from the Considerate Constructors Scheme for their site at Park Hall in Oswestry where 18 social housing units are being built for Meres & Mosses Housing Association, part of Shropshire Housing Group.

Site Manager, Sam Diamond, who joined Pickstock Construction Ltd just a few months ago, has worked tirelessly to ensure the site is presented and operated to the highest standard, which has resulted in outstanding scores from the Considerate Constructors Scheme.

The report detailed key points which helped to gain top marks in site appearance, respecting the community, protecting the environment, safety and caring for the workforce.
Some of the highlights from the report were its tidiness and minimizing impact on neighbouring residents by the careful positioning of on-site facilities. Minimizing the impact of deliveries was also noted due to the one way system that has been implemented on-site.

Sam has also ensured that the parish council and neighbours have been kept informed of all activity. A number of environmental points were noted including the use of recycled stone and any timber off cuts and plasterboard waste will be transported to Elements Europe , Pickstock Construction’s sister company for use in their off-site modular manufacturing process. Health and safety on-site also scored high as well as caring for the workforce.

Andy Jones, Managing Director of Pickstock Construction  commented “We are really pleased to have gained this high score from the Considerate Constructors Scheme. This is testament to Sam’s hard work and dedication to running a site to the highest efficiency”.
