PLANNING CONSENT GRANTED FOR NEW KFC AND STARBUCKS AT OSWESTRY GATEWAY, OSWESTRY
Shropshire Council has just approved plans to develop a KFC and Starbucks drive thru and restaurant at Oswestry Gateway, on the outskirts of Oswestry, which will create more than 60 new jobs for the local economy.
The proposals form the second phase of the Oswestry Gateway development, which has already seen the delivery of a Premier Inn hotel and a Table Table restaurant. J-Ross Developments are hoping to start on site shortly and to complete the development within the next 8 months.
The latest development will help complete the provision of infrastructure on site, which means that the remaining development land will be fully serviced and available for immediate development.
Chief Executive of J-Ross Developments, Nick Scott explains “We are delighted to be working with KFC and Starbucks on the next phase of development at Oswestry Gateway, the proposal will create a high quality development providing much needed local employment opportunities, both during construction and after the restaurants open, which is good news for the local economy.”
He added “The scheme also releases a significant investment in the infrastructure serving Oswestry Gateway; it will allow us to service the remaining land in our ownership, making it more readily available for future development.”
