Completion of 85,000 sqft Meat Processing Facility

Pickstock Construction has successfully delivered a 85,000 sq ft meat processing facility for Pickstock Asbhy Ltd.

This is the first meat processing facility Pickstock Construcion has constructed, working alongside sister company J-Ross Developments Ltd to develop the design in line with Pickstock Ashby’s specific requirements. In such a highly regulated industry as food processing, Pickstock Construction worked very closely with Pickstock Ashby and regulatory bodies to ensure material specification was to exacting standards. Pickstock Construcion dealt with complex ground works and detailed plans to fit with machinery and processes to achieve this state of the art facility.

Pickstock Construction also built two detached offices as part of the project, one for the lairage administration and another for the office staff on site.

The relocation of their facility from Derbyshire to Telford in Shropshire formulates a major expansion plan for Pickstock Ashby Ltd, which has shown strong growth over the last six years and now supplies over 20 different countries including several outside of Europe, with over 80% of its annual product going to export.
