Oswestry Housing Scheme is Well on Target for Handover
Pickstock Construction’s site at Park Hall, Oswestry is well on target to achieve the handover date of the 4th of July.
Scaffolding has now been removed from all of the houses and external façade work has commenced. Internally the houses are currently having their final fix work carried out by JR Pickstock’s skilled team of carpenters.
The 18 social housing units are being developed for client Meres & Mosses, part of Shropshire Housing Group. The site situated on the outskirts of Oswestry at Park Hall will be a mix of bungalows and two and three bedroom homes.
Shropshire Housing Group will be assisting young families in getting on the property ladder by offering a shared ownership scheme on four of the properties on the site, others will be rented out or available to buy with help from the Government’s Help to Buy Scheme.
All homes on the site are compliant with the Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4 and have Solar PV Panels fitted to enable electricity to be generated from the suns energy.
Andy Jones, Managing Director commented “It has been a pleasure working with Meres & Moses to establish these quality houses at an affordable price, we look forward to handing over the keys in July and hope to work with them on another development soon.”
Shropshire Housing Group provides good quality homes, with affordable rent and currently owns and manages over 4,500 homes in and around Shropshire and Herefordshire. The development at Park Hall has been funded by the Department for Communities and Local Government who have pledged to invest £4.5bn through their Affordable Homes Programme.
