The Pickstock Group Lends a Helping Hand

The Pickstock Group of companies has donated £2500 to the Montgomeryshire Museum’s Education and Access Service.

Since 2000, Montgomeryshire Museums have run an education and access service at Powysland, Llanidloes Museum and also Newtown’s Textile Museum. The museum has developed topics to help local schools cover a large proportion of the national curriculum.

Spencer Cooper, Managing Director at Kensington & Edinburgh Estates, says “During the course of our involvement with the Welshpool Livestock Market development we became aware of the very important work that the museum undertakes, educating the children in the area of the country’s history”

“It is clear that the donation we are making will have material benefits to this service and enable it to continue its important work as a charitable trust.”

Kensington &Edinburgh Estates worked alongside JRoss Developments and Pickstock Construction to deliver one of Europe’s largest livestock markets in Welshpool.
