New Apprenticeship Scheme Starts at Elements Europe

Elements Europe has held its first apprenticeship assessment day at its manufacturing facility in Telford.

Elements Europe is set to invite a total of 100 potential apprentices to one of its assessment days over the next month. The day entails a presentation giving an introduction to the company, a tour of the manufacturing facility, a team building exercise and a short interview.

The apprenticeship is a Manufacturing Operations NVQ that will give the apprentices multi-skilled experience across Elements Europe’s manufacturing process.
The benefit to this particular NVQ is that each individual will be able to determine through their first year of learning what trade suits them best so that in their second year they can specialise in just one trade for the remainder of their apprenticeship. The aim is to take on 20 apprentices each year.

“We are delighted to introduce this particular NVQ to the business to offer our apprentices the opportunity to grow into a trade that they most enjoy.” commented Michael Lloyd, HR Manager.

“We are dedicated to making 5% of our workforce apprentices, investing in people and education of off-site construction” he added.
