Elements Europe Holds Apprenticeship Recruitment Day

After the success of last year’s apprenticeship recruitment day Elements Europe has held another event at its facility this week.

A total of 40 potential apprentices attended the assessment day during which the candidates learnt about the company with a presentation and a tour of the manufacturing facility this was followed by a team building exercise and a short interview.

The apprenticeship is a Manufacturing Operations NVQ that will give the apprentices multi-skilled experience across Elements Europe’s manufacturing process.
The benefit to this particular NVQ is that each individual will be able to determine through their first year of learning what trade suits them best so that in their second year they can specialise in just one trade for the remainder of their apprenticeship. The aim is to take on 10 apprentices this year.

“We are delighted to continue to offer our apprentices the opportunity to grow into a trade that they most enjoy. Allowing our apprentices to experience all trades gives them the opportunity to decide what they would like to do in the future” commented Michael Lloyd, Head of HR.

“We are dedicated to making 5% of our workforce apprentices, investing in people and education of off-site construction” he added.
