A Decade of Success for Elements Europe

2015 marks ten years of business success for Elements Europe. Born from a firm belief that traditional methods of construction could be improved, The Pickstock Group set about investing resource, capital and dedication into testing and fine tuning its aspiring plans for an off-site modular construction business.

Building on the obvious benefits of off-site construction; reduced build programmes, improved quality, health and safety, material traceability with less snagging on-site, Elements Europe was born with a clear mission statement to achieve excellence in the design, manufacture and delivery of high quality off-site construction systems to leading UK contractors.

During the past ten years Elements Europe has delivered many ambitious projects which has seen the company grow to be one of the leading off-site system providers within the UK.

Since their very first project, a 59 bedroom Premier Inn, Elements Europe has gone on to manufacture for complex and ambitious projects working alongside the UK’s leading contractors as well as its parent company Pickstock Construction to deliver full turnkey solutions.

Operating in the hotel, student accommodation, health care, defence and residential sectors, Elements Europe has worked alongside some of the best brands in the UK having delivered numerous schemes for Premier Inn, as well as for Travelodge, Motel One, and the coveted Renaissance Hotel at St Pancras Station, London.

It has manufactured temporary accommodation for the MoD to house troops during the Olympic Games in London, shipped modules to Sierra Leone and housed security for the G8 Summit.

Elements Europe’s design team work closely with the client to ensure that they achieve the exact specification they require whether it be a luxury hotel or student accommodation. A recent project saw the installation of 604 modules for Berkeley Homes’ student accommodation scheme in Bath’s city centre which entailed many specific design features to fit in with Bath’s local vernacular.

This year will also see the completion of a turnkey solution by the Pickstock Group in Colchester which has seen a total of 1049 modules installed into two phases of a student accommodation scheme, completed over a two year period which is its largest project to date.

There have been many milestones for Elements Europe over the last decade and the next ten years is set to be just as exciting with the recent relocation to a new manufacturing facility 266% larger than its previous, new Managing Director Simon Underwood formally of Mace joining the team, and commencing its first private rented sector and retail projects which will lay the grounds for expansion in these sectors.
